I have certainly learned my vocabulary is lacking. I was certain of some of the vocabulary words, but others I had no clue as to their meaning. I think i have really limited my variety of words when I stopped reading books.I still enjoy reading, but I am limited in my time. Kind of like the saying if you don't use it, you lose it! I also learned I remembered more then I thought from English 1 and Writing Fundamentals. Which has been great. I am not as uncertain as I was the first go around.

Now for the quesions. I am wondering if anyone else is still uncomfortable with their blog. I am a Facebook addict. So I am not so sure  as to why this blog has me bent out of shape. It's not like I am social media shy.

  1. My vocabulary is definitely not what it should be either! However, I did find the words assigned very helpful with expanding my vocabulary. I've never really liked to read for a hobby because I can't stay focused long enough to comprehend what it is I'm reading. I am still a little uncomfortable with the blogging too but I'm pretty sure it's because I have to sometimes talk about things that really don't interest me. I spent so much time on Facebook, I had to deactivate!

  2. I am right there with you on the vocabulary! I'm 23 and been using the word condone wrong the whole time. As for the blogging I'm not sure what to think about it. I am on Facebook a lot too and I cant figure out why its so much trouble either.

  3. Yes I have a little trouble with my blog. I have the basics down but wish I could do a little more to really make my blog stand out. I really do not do much on facebook or my computer in general. For me my computer is mostly for school and to listen to music. The other problem I have is more about being able to write two hundred and fifty words.

  4. Reading is definitely the best way to improve one's vocabulary, but unfortunately, even those words won't stick with us if we don't use them, and don't do us much good if we don't look them up when we encounter them.
